This policy explains what information we collect through this website and what we do with it. It is short because our data practices are simple.
Last updated: September 2026.
Spokane Mold Inspection is an independent mold and indoor air quality testing company serving Spokane County, Washington and Kootenai County, Idaho. This policy covers this website and the ways you can contact us through it.
What we collect
Information you give us. When you fill out a contact or booking form, or call us, you provide things like your name, phone number, email address, property address, and a description of your situation. We collect that because we cannot schedule or perform an inspection without it.
Website analytics. We use standard web analytics to understand how people find and use the site. That typically includes pages viewed, time on page, approximate location at the city or region level, device and browser type, and the site or search that referred you. This is aggregate traffic data, not an attempt to identify you personally.
Call tracking. Some phone numbers on this site are tracking numbers, which let us tell which pages and advertising sources generate calls. When you call one, we record the calling number, the date and time, and the call duration. Calls may be recorded for quality and accuracy of scheduling. If a call is being recorded, you will be told at the start of the call.
Cookies. The site uses cookies for analytics and basic site function. You can block or delete them in your browser settings and the site will still work. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
What we do with it
We use the information you give us to respond to your inquiry, schedule and perform the inspection, produce and deliver your report, invoice you, and follow up about the work.
We use analytics and call tracking data to understand which pages are useful and where our customers come from, so we can improve the site and spend advertising money sensibly.
We do not sell your information. We do not rent it, trade it, or provide it to marketing lists.
Text messages. We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Mobile phone numbers and text message consent collected by Spokane Mold Inspection LLC are used only to send the messages you agreed to receive, and are never shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.
Who else sees it
The laboratory. Samples are sent to an accredited laboratory for analysis under a chain of custody form, which includes the property address and sample identifiers. The lab does not receive your contact information beyond what appears on that form.
Service providers. We use ordinary business tools for scheduling, email, invoicing, payment processing and website analytics. Those providers process data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes. We do not store full payment card numbers ourselves. Payments are handled by a payment processor.
People you tell us to. If you ask us to send your report to your agent, contractor, adjuster, attorney, landlord or tenant, we do. Otherwise your report goes to the person who ordered and paid for the inspection.
When the law requires it. We will disclose information if compelled by valid legal process, and we may use your inspection records to defend the accuracy of our own work if it is disputed.
Your inspection report
Your report and the underlying data belong to the person or company that ordered the inspection. We keep a copy in our records so that we can reproduce it if you need another copy years later, and so we can stand behind the findings if they are ever questioned.
We do not publish reports, use property addresses in marketing, or share findings about your property with anyone who was not party to the job, unless you tell us to.
How long we keep things
Inspection records, reports and lab data are retained indefinitely, because these documents are frequently needed years after the fact in real estate transactions, insurance claims and disputes. Contact form submissions that do not result in a job are kept for a limited period and then discarded. Analytics data is retained according to the default retention of the analytics provider.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask for a copy of it, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact us and we will handle it. There are two limits worth stating honestly: we cannot delete records we are required to keep for tax or legal reasons, and we retain completed inspection reports as described above.
You can opt out of marketing email at any time using the unsubscribe link, or by asking. That does not affect emails about a job in progress.
Washington and Idaho residents have rights under applicable state law regarding personal information. If you want to exercise any of them, contact us directly and we will respond.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the information we hold, including access controls on our systems and reputable service providers for payment and file storage. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we will not claim otherwise. This site may also link to other websites, such as a laboratory or a government agency, and we are not responsible for the privacy practices of sites we do not operate.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes will be noted here rather than made quietly.
